Family-Based Religious Education
An intergeneration process which encourages partnership between parish and home, Family-Based Religious Education is centered in the Sunday readings or lectionary. Using these readings, adults, youth, and children come to better understand the doctrines, traditions, and rituals of our Church. This program builds community - every one, from young children through grandparents, is invited! Connecting faith and life, parents are provided with information for themselves and for on-going faith discussions at home. Participation in the Sunday celebration and the life of the parish is a focus.
