Bishop Sweeney has authorized a Diocesan-wide food collection in all parishes and agencies on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd. St. Patrick Parish is being asked to donate any cold cereal or shampoo. Monetary donations will also be accepted and can be made online at www.ccpaterson.org/corpus. Thank you for helping us fill our food pantries during the critical summer months when children are home from school and for fulfilling our obligations to the poor.
We need 2 drivers to deliver the food collected for the Feast of Corpus Christi Food Collection. Donations from St. Patrick Parish will need to be delivered to Saint Simon the Apostle in Newfoundland, NJ on June 3 or Jun 4. Contact the Parish Office if you can help!

May 4 & 5 is our monthly food collection for the Father English Center in Paterson. The most needed items at this time are: coffee, tea, peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix, syrup, and laundry products. Donations can be left in the priests' garage after all masses on May 4 and 5. Liturgy of the Word with Children and Children's Church will meet every Sunday through May 5. These programs are offered at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass for children from preschool through grade 2. After the opening prayer, the presiding priest will invite the children to the altar for a dismissal blessing. Leaders will accompany the children to classrooms below the church for listen to age-appropriate readings, singing and reflection. Younger children hear a bible story and color. All children return to their parents as the gifts are brought to the altar.

Kwanghyon Thomas Ko and Emily Ariana Villagran celebrated the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil and now enter the period of Mystagogy, the fourth stage of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
A Marian Devotion Mass will be offered the First Saturday of each month at 8 am in the Church. The next Marian Devotion Mass will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 8 am. Fr. Chris will be celebrant. Join us!
Join us on Friday, April 5 in the Church for First Friday Mass followed by Adoration. Mass begins at 12:30 pm immediately followed by Adoration until 3 pm. All are invited to stop in and spend some private time in prayer with the Lord.

Our Parish Nurse Ministry has been part of the fabric of our parish for decades. They also sponsor the annual Mass of Anointing each March. As the ministry as changes over the years as to the services they are able to provide, they are looking for input from our parishioners to determine the direction and offerings they will hold in the future. If you have not completed the Parish Nurse Survey emailed to all parishioners on March 11, please take the time to complete this short survey. Let us know what types of programs you would like to see us offer at the Parish. We have had many parishioners respond and have received many suggestions about programs and workshops they would like to see at our parish. Thank you for participating!
Homemade Soda Bread, Irish butter, freshly brewed coffee and catching up with parishioner friends. It doesn’t get much better than that! All who popped into the St. Patrick Sunday Social, featuring our annual Soda Bread Contest, had a wonderful time. A big thank you to our participants, all your baked goods were delicious. Congratulations to Anne Greener, whose soda bread was chosen as the winner by popular vote. Our annual Easter Food Collection to benefit the Father English Center will be March 23 & 24. Please drop off your food donations in the priests' garage that weekend. Save the date! Our annual Saint Patrick's Day Sunday Social and Soda Bread Contest will be held on Sunday, March 17 in the Parish Center at 10:30 am. Join us for coffee, treats, tattoos for the little leprechauns and, of course, our annual Soda Bread contest! Entering the contest is easy! Simply drop off your bread prior to the 10:30 am start time in the Parish Center kitchen the morning of the event with your name and phone number attached to the bread. Come, spend time with friends and family on the Feast of our Patron Saint!
