The Peace Light arrived today, December 5, 2018, thanks to Troop 28 Boy Scout, Luka Batljan. The Peace Light is lit at the grotto in Bethlehem and it makes its way to the United States from Vienna where it is transported in blast proof miners' lamps to JFK. Luka shares this beautiful light with many of the churches in Chatham. This flame will be used at our Christmas Eve 11 pm mass where attendees will be invited to distribute the flame among the parishioners present, lighting the way for the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who is the Light of the Universe.
