On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, a discussion regarding clergy sexual abuse in the Catholic Church including reflection about how the scandal has challenged our spirituality and faith, was led by Father Bob. Over 30 parishioners attended the meeting to voice their thoughts and concerns as well as feelings of anger and betrayal. Questions were posed including if the Church will ever be the same, how has it challenged your life and faith and why attendees chose to attend the discussion. Fr. Bob ended the meeting telling the attendees if they would like to meet again for more thoughts and discussion to aid in healing, to contact him or the parish office so another discussion can be scheduled. Fifteen choir members and eleven chaperones traveled to St. John Nepomucene Church in NYC to sing for the Pueri Cantores Festival in Manhattan on Saturday, March 23. The students worked with Conductor/Clinician Michael Bowers of St. Agnes Cathedral, singing in a choir of over 200 young students from NY, NJ, and surrounding states. Our choir also sang alone for the mass, performing "How Lovely Is Your Dwelling Place" by Kenneth Kosche.
