We are doing a special Lenten email project this year to foster fellowship and community. Each weekday during the liturgical season of Lent, a special email will go to each subscriber with a short reflection, or a short video submitted by fellow parishioners, parish staff, school staff and families. We hope you will feel inspired and connected through this daily contact for Lent! To opt in, please sign up by clicking on the title of this news blurb or contact the parish office at 973-635-0625.
The Parish will be purchasing new hymnals to be used at all Masses! Parishioners and friends will have the opportunity to donate money and 'dedicate' a hymnal to a loved one or family, if they choose. Details and registration form can be found by clicking on the title of this news blurb!
St.Patrick Parish will begin the Jesus study on Tuesday, March 1 at 8:45am and Thursday, March 3 at 7pm at the Parish Office, at Oliver 41. Participants will meet every week to view an engaging video presentation, followed by a lively group discussion and fellowship. For more information or to register, contact Fr. Arur [email protected] or through our website https://st-pats.org/study-programs. We recommend that you register by February 28th, but you can join us anytime. See you there!
Children in Preschool through grade 1 are invited to participate in Children's Church (Preschool Age) and Liturgy of the Word with Children (Kindergarten and Grade 1) at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass. They will be held when Faith Formation meets. No advance sign-up is necessary. The priest will call the children up to the front of the church prior to the first reading and they will proceed with leaders and volunteers to the classrooms under the church. They will hear the same weekend readings at a level that is easy for them to understand. They return to the church and their families during the offertory.
With the donation from a very generous family, we are able to offer our parishioners access to FORMED, a subscription service which provides Catholic content from more than 60 organizations that allow us to explore our faith in many ways from movies and eBooks to podcasts and radio talks. Content is available for all age groups from children through adults and on various Catholic topics including sacraments, prayer, saints, documentaries and much, much more!
