Celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation while waiting for the coming of Jesus Christ! During the liturgical season of Advent, Saint Patrick Parish will offer private reconciliation on Monday evenings from 6:30 pm - 7 pm in addition to the Saturday afternoons from 4 pm - 4:30 pm in the church. The Sacrament of Reconciliation frees us from our sins and challenges us to have the same kind of compassion and forgiveness towards others that God, our Father, shows us.
Thank you to all who signed up to sponsor a family or individual as part of our Christmas in a Box program. Gift drop off is THIS Sunday, December 3 from 8 am until 11 am in the Parish Center. Thank you for your participation and bringing joy and cheer this Christmas!
Thank you to all who have selected a gift tag from our Giving Tree benefitting individuals supported by Family Promise, a non-profit organization working hard to provide shelter to those who are homeless in Morris County. Please return unwrapped gifts and gift cards under the tree in the Church narthex with the tag taped to the gift by Thursday, December 7. Thank you for your generosity and helping those in need!
Come join with Chatham friends and neighbors across all faiths and traditions in celebration of the many blessings we share on Tuesday, November 21 from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm at St. Patrick Church. Sponsored by the Interfaith Clergy Council of the Chathams and Green Village, there will be a lite fellowship reception following the service. Please bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Chatham Food Pantry at Chatham UMC. A free-will offering will be donated to the Chatham Emergency Squad serving both the Borough and Township.
We will be collecting small, frozen turkeys, turkey breast, and chickens this weekend as well as non-perishable holiday foods such as gravy, canned yams and potatoes, canned vegetables, stuffing, rice, evaporated milk and more for our friends at the Father English Center. The collection is THIS weekend, November 18 & 19. Please drop off donations in the priests' garage located behind the Parish Center on Oliver Street. Contact the Parish Office with any questions. Thank you for your generosity!
Thank you to the many parishioners that have already signed up to help make this Christmas special for someone in need! We still have families, children, senior citizens and veterans that need sponsors! Please prayerfully consider how you could help our friends and neighbors both locally here in Chatham and in the Paterson Diocese. Let's shine Christ's Light brightly this Christmas season by providing gifts and food to our brothers and sisters in need!
