Fr. Bob maintains a multitude of hobbies that include travel. He fulfilled three of his dreams, which led him to the pyramids of Egypt, the Great Wall of China, and a visit to distant relatives scattered around the cities of Melbourne, Sidney, and Brisbane, Australia. In addition to travel, Fr. Bob may be found throughout the summer months at Fenway Park cheering for his beloved Red Sox, while the other seasons lull him to the TV set rooting for the N.Y. Jets. He is also an avid fan of the N.J. Devils and Boston Celtics, and loves theater and dinner in New York City. Another enjoyment for Fr. Bob is walks through the streets and parks of New York City. In looking at life Fr. Bob says that balance is the key. A happy life contains a balance of prayer, loving relationships, hard work, exercise, and hobbies. This generates enthusiasm for him to wake up each morning with the ability to put the joys and sorrows, surprises and routines, successes and failures into perspective.
